Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music songwriter and singer. The year 2007 was the time she released two singles and an album titled Satisfied. Then she formed the Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. Later, they released their second album entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for over 15 years, and spent five of those years as a deputy city manager for Iowa City. She is currently an Assistant Village manager. She has a variety of responsibilities that include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department in charge of grants and special initiatives. As a part of Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of village services while implementing the strategic vision of elected officials as well as the community. Her previous roles included the municipal planning, budgeting for communications, staff management, collective bargaining as well as focusing on climate-related initiatives. Because of her involvement with the national community and working in communities with diverse populations, Ashley has gained an understanding of the complexities differences and similarities in how public organizations work. Ashley's training focuses on contemporary strategies for leadership and management within the public sector, from an experience professional. Her emphasis on ethical and strategic decision-making that adapts to current issues and opportunities, as well as navigating intergovernmental and community relationships will provide a framework for future and working professionals within public institutions.
